| "Starbuck" is one of those high-concept yet formulaic, sitcom-like comedies that gets by on charm and speed. Steven Boone-Chicago Sun-Times It's silly and a bit sappy, but it works, in a crowd-pleasing way. Michael O'Sullivan-Washington Post Director Ken Scott, who also cowrote the script with Martin Petit, has fashioned a story that starts out low-key and gradually builds in its emotional expansiveness.
